JSO Sing-In Contest
With all the excitement about the "You Tube" discovery of great everyday, local talent, the Jackson Symphony Orchestra would like to showcase some of our Jackson County vocal talent. An audition will be held and a $150 cash prize awarded. In addition the winner(s) will be featured at our August 9 Summer Pops concert at the Jackson County Fairgrounds Grandstand. Contestants must prepare one of the following selections from Les Miserables - Bring Him Home in the key of G or I Dreamed a Dream which begins in the key of E flat then ends in the key of B flat. An accompanist will be provided.
Only Jackson county residents who are 20 or older are eligable to participate in the JSO Sing-In Contest.
Auditions will be at the JSO, 215 W. Michigan Ave., downtown Jackson, on Saturday, May 30 starting at 1 p.m.
