Roaring Twenties theme chosen for 2004 Holiday Ball

The Jackson Symphony Guild’s 2004 Holiday Ball – “The Great Gatsby Gala” – will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Country Club of Jackson.

The Holiday Ball committee is currently working on ideas to capture the speakeasy atmosphere of The Roaring Twenties.

In keeping with this theme, there will be a roulette wheel and craps table along with a jazz performance by Benny Poole, classical music by members of the JSO and dance music performed by The Arrangement.

New this year is a live auction in addition to a silent auction. Anyone with items to donate should phone Guild director Pat Beffel Jr. at 783-3426.

Tickets to the Holiday Ball are $150 each. Invitations will be sent out by the beginning of November. If you do not receive an invitation and would like to have one, please call Maryanne Fuchs, Holiday Ball Chair, at 563-2289.
