• December 1 - JSO Guild, 20th Annual  "Holiday Ball", 6:30 p.m. Country Club of Jackson.  The drawing for the Holiday Ball Raffle will also be held.

• December 2, 5, 7, 8, 9 - Anne Murray's Christmas tour, JSO provides orchestral backup.  Concerts in Naperville, IL, Kalamazoo, Flint, Jackson and Benton Harbor

• July 27, 2002 - "Picnic in the Park" 4:30-7:30 P.M. at the Cascades Pavilion, prior to the "Pops In The Park" concert.  Catered by Ted's Firehouse Pub and hosted by the Jackson Symphony Guild.  Come join us for coney dogs, a bar-b-que pork sandwich, homemade potato salad, baked beans, dessert and a beverage.  Adults $7.00 - Children under 12  $3.00  Tickets available from the Symphony Office.

• July 27, 2002 - "Pops in the Park" 8:00 P.M. Cascades Park.  The cannons and fireworks of Pops in the Park, at the Cascade Falls Amphitheater, adds to the ambience of a wonderful outdoor concert under the stars.  Featuring local talent, dancers, singers and actors.  This annual favorite has become a great community event for everyone.
