Thank you for your support of the JSO
for the 50th anniversary season! Tonight (March 18, 2000) marks the fourth concert in our 50th anniversary celebration series and also the kick-off of our season ticket renewal campaign for the 2000-2001 subscription series. As we reminisce with the alumni players and guest artists this evening, we also look forward to beginning our next half century with a season of Great Music and Great Musicians. Not only are we welcoming outstanding artists to our stage, we are busy bringingew and innovative educational programming to our community! Many JSO
education and outreach programs as well as the high caliber concerts we present are possible only through the generous support of our annual fund contributors.This year a host of new programs and exciting concert venues including musical field trips for Jackson County third grade students, an expanded Family Concert and Pops in the Park were introduced to the community as a part of the JSO 50th Anniversary Season. In order to continue these programs we need your help!
Great Music, Great Musicians, and finally, Great Opportunities truly sums up the JSO focus for the 5 1 st season. I hope that you will take a moment tonight to renew your season tickets and consider joining the JSO family of contributors.
