Meet Our Musicians: Ed Browning
This is Ed's 27th season with the JSO. He studied clarinet and saxophone in high school and played in Kalamazoo area dance bands to help finance his education. He abandoned his music for about 20 years while raising a family and pursuing an engineering career at Consumers Energy. He is often invited to play in local orchestras. This past year he was a guest musician at the First Congregational Church, Tuesday Musicale and Jackson Chorale Children's Choir performances. He is a member of the Amateur Chamber Music Players Association and plays with a local string and wind ensemble.
