Meet Our Musicians: Dr. Thomas E. Holman, D.D.S.

Dr. Holman began cello lessons with his mother at age five. He attended Interlochen at the high school level on a scholarship at age 13 and played in the Jackson Symphony Orchestra while attending junior and senior high school. Holman played a cello concerto for a JSO concert during that time. Dr. Holman studied at Eastman School of Music, with Howard Hansen and Fred Fennel, and also at University of Michigan Music School where he participated in the American college premiere of Mahler’s Second Symphony
under Joseph Blatt.
