Music... the gift of a lifetime for your baby By making music part of your child's life from birth, you will help your baby establish vital connections to the world. Studies have shown that early exposure to quality music can have a strong positive influence on your baby's natural musical ability and overall development.Interaction with music will engage your baby's brain, stimulating those areas associated with higher levels of learning. Music also naturally evokes movement which is necessary r your baby's physical growth and coordination. Moreover, music is simply fun! This recording is designed to assist you in providing a quality music environment that will help maximize your baby's potential. The recordings and accompanying booklet will help you interact musically with your baby through listening... singing... rhythmic chanting... and moving in an enjoyable and developmentally beneficial way. The Jackson Symphony Orchestra - in its 50th year of providing quality music and programming - is proud to present Babies in Tune to the families of newborns in Jackson County. This project is designed to give all parents in the community an opportunity to share and enjoy the benefits of music with their young children. Babies in Tune is part of a larger music education and community out reach program developed by the Jackson Symphony Orchestra that includes the Community Music School.
