JSO forms new Legacy Society for estate donors

The Jackson Symphony Orchestra Legacy Society is made up of individuals who have chosen to remember the JSO in their estate plans or as a part of their wills. As the number of individuals making these decisions grows, the JSO is undertaking to give special thanks and recognition to all who have generously made provisions for the organization.  If you have chosen to remember the JSO in this manner,  we would like to hear from you and include you either by name or anonymously (your choice) as a member of the Legacy Society. Participants will be listed in all subsequent program books and will receive the following benefits:

  • Maestro’s conference – meet with the Maestro to discuss current JSO plans, future seasons and subjects society members bring to the table. (November)

  • Season Finale with the Maestro – join Stephen Osmond and Bruce Brown for lunch on the Friday prior to the final subscription concert to discuss repertoire and, when possible, to dine with the guest artists. (April)

  • JSO Board Luncheon – meet the newly elected and current JSO Board of Directors during the week directly following the JSO annual meeting. (June)

  • Summer Legacy Society Picnic –  attend an afternoon /evening of casual dining and interesting musical fare that includes members of the Legacy Society and selected orchestra members. (July or August)

  • Post-Concert Receptions – receive invitations to all JSO post-concert receptions.

If you have made provisions for the JSO and would like to be recognized as a part of the Legacy Society, please contact Mary Spring at 782-3221.
