JSO welcomes new administrative assistant

The new year is off to a great start at the JSO. Joan Cummings has joined the JSO as Administrative Assistant to Maestro Stephen Osmond and Development Director Mary Spring.

She served as part-time business manager for the JSO several years ago and is very familiar with the operation of the organization. Her new responsibilities will include assisting with marketing, outreach and education projects.Cummings also is office manager for McCleer Power in Jackson.

When she isn’t working, she volunteers in the community. Cummings is treasurer for the Jackson Symphony Guild and has been active in numerous Jackson organizations over the years, including Mother Teresa’s Circle, Jackson Junior Welfare League, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts.

Cummings lives in Jackson, is married to John Cummings, and has three children: John, Jill and Julie.
