Jackson Community Strings

• An ensemble designed to give community members performance opportunities.
• Now entering their 8th season, the strings continue to play and perform on a regular basis in the Jackson area.

Duriing the 1991 - 1992 season a group was started for community people who want to play in an orchestra but do not have the time or do not play at a level acceptable for regular membership in the JSO. Their debut performance took place on June 18, 1992 and the rest is history! Now in their eighth season the Community Strings ensemble continues to enjoy playing and performing on a regular basis.
