Kathleen Van De Graaff

Soprano Kathleen Van De Graaff has enjoyed great success on both the operatic stage and in the concert hall. She has a master's degree in voice from Brigham Young University, and has won and placed in several nationwide and local competitions. Some of her roles include Gilda in Rigoletto, the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Constanze in The Abduction from the Seraglio, Serpina in LaServa Padrona, Antonia in Tales of Hoffmann, and Leticia in Menotti's Old Maid and the Thief. Her oratorio appearances include soloist in Mozart's Solemn Vespers, Haydn's Mass in Time of War, Haydn's Creation, Michael Haydn's St. Hieronymus Mass, Handel's Messiah, Bach's St. Matthew Passion, and Saint-Saens' Christmas Oratorio. Companies with whom she has worked have been the Milwaukee Opera Company, Washington/Idaho Symphony, Chicago Chamber Opera, North Shore Choral Society and Lincoln Opera. She has also recorded the soprano solos in the world premiere recording of Josef Martin Kraus' oratorio Der Tod Jesu on the German Pan record label.
