| Originally from New York City, Parri Sontag has lived in Jackson for 10 years. She has a Masters in journalism from Northwestern University and worked as a writer for both the Jackson Citizen- Patriot and Consumers Energy. She is currently taking some time off to write a screenplay. Parri has been featured in several local community theatre productions. Her favorite roles have included Miss Hannigan in Annie, Bloody Mary in South Pacific, Sister Margaretta in the Sound of Music, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Maxell in the Pajama Game and Susy in Wait Until Dark. While in NYC, she was also starred in an Off-Off-OffBroadway (so "off" it was in Greenwich Village) musical production of the Gift of the Magi. Parri lives in Summit Township with her husband, Jim, and their 4-year-old daughter, Danielle. | |
