Quartet Felice to Perform at Weatherwax Hall as Part of JSO’s Up-Close Series

On Saturday, February 18th, Quartet Felice will play a concert at Weatherwax Hall (The Wax), the Jackson Symphony Orchestra’s Performing Arts Center located at 215 W. Michigan Ave. in downtown Jackson. Doors open for this performance at 7 PM and music will begin at 7:30. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Quartet Felice will present an evening of string quartets and commentary! Join us for a fun, educational informative evening featuring JSO Community Music School Director and JSO Associate Concertmaster David Lamse, along with JSO musicians Mallory Tabb, David Peshlakai, and guest artist Joseph Deller. A wide variety of movements will be performed from the vast string quartet repertoire, accompanied by historical information on the composers, history, and art of quartet performance. From Bach to Shostakovich, this is sure to be an intriguing glimpse into the fine art of classical string chamber music!”
