Jackson Symphony Orchestra Announces New Director of Development
The Jackson Symphony Orchestra (JSO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lauri Eberhart as its new Director of Development. In this role, Eberhart will lead the organization’s fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic development initiatives to support the Symphony’s artistic and community-driven mission.
A lifelong sports and live event industry executive, Lauri brings extensive experience in fundraising, partnerships, and event operations to the JSO. She most recently served as CEO of Friends of Laguna Seca, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and revitalization of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Throughout her career, Lauri has negotiated and closed more than $5 billion in high-profile transactions and led major live event operations.
Before joining Friends of Laguna Seca, Lauri co-founded Apollo Sports & Entertainment Law Group and served as General Counsel for Speedway Motorsports and Charlotte Motor Speedway. She has also held leadership roles with Richmond Raceway and Michigan International Speedway.
A respected media commentator on sports business and legal matters, Lauri has been featured in Sports Business Journal and recognized nationally for her leadership in the industry. A strong advocate for the arts and community enrichment, Eberhart has a personal connection to the Symphony’s mission and a deep appreciation for the role music plays in bringing people together.
Lauri grew up in Jackson and is a proud graduate of Jackson Public Schools. Her connection to the JSO is longstanding – her mother, Elayne Eberhart, was a devoted supporter of the arts and past president of the JSO Guild. She is excited to return to her hometown and support the continued growth of the Jackson Symphony Orchestra.
“I am honored to join the Jackson Symphony Orchestra at such an exciting time,” said Eberhart. “This organization holds a special leadership place in the community and I believe strongly in the role the arts play not only in enriching quality of life, but also in supporting economic development by helping to attract, retain, and inspire talent. I look forward to working with supporters and stakeholders to ensure the Symphony continues to be a driving force for both cultural vitality and economic strength in the region.”
Please join us in welcoming Lauri Eberhart to the Jackson Symphony Orchestra.
