Orquesta Ritmo Returns to Weatherwax Hall

Get ready to dance as Orquesta Ritmo returns to Weatherwax Hall for Salsa Night on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 8pm. Back by popular demand, the Michigan-based ensemble brings the vibrant sounds of salsa and Latin music back to Jackson for a high-energy night of live music and dancing.

Orquesta Ritmo has been performing throughout the Midwest for more than 40 years, sharing the stage with artists including Oscar D’León and Los Lobos. The group has also received a Special Tribute from the Michigan Legislature recognizing its work promoting Cuban culture. Blending traditional Latin rhythms with an energetic live sound, Orquesta Ritmo will once again transform Weatherwax Hall into a lively dance floor.

Before the concert, join us for an exclusive Pre-Party at 6pm with appetizers, drinks, and a chance to learn the basics of salsa dancing with instruction from Lesly Sauceda.
